Designer Paprika Skala-Williams after 12 years of working at Klinika Lalek Theatre in Poland came to London to study Set and Costume Design for Theatre and Screen at London’s Central Saint Martins. Back in 1997 Paprika also set up music promotion company Soundo Collective to utilise her love of reggae music and to create the exchange platform for famous Polish reggae and related genres bands and sound systems with the original UK/Jamaican acts. Based in Mass and Electric in Brixton Soundo successfully run for over a decade and resulted in Paprika’s marriage to incredible Jamaican bass guitarist , legendary Leo Ezekill Williams (BAD, Dreadzone) 2 children after, Paprika runs community based Sculpture and Ceramic workshops collaborating with Kensington and Chelsea College and studies Sculpture and Ceramic Design at CSM. After Grenfell fire, then based in Dixon House (neighbouring tower), she focused on free art therapy workshops for traumatised community.
