JC Kamau is an actor, writer, presenter and director from West London. He has performed his one man comedy play, The Mental Retreat at the Camden Roundhouse (2012), The Tabernacle (2013), Portobello Pop Up Theatre (2013), & Chelsea Theatre (2014) as well as other projects at the Victoria & Albert Museum where Kamau was invited to write and perform a monologue as part of its Martin Luther King tribute programme in August 2013. He was also in the play Meet The Neighbors performed at the Gate Theatre (2016). In addition to his theatrical work, Kamau curated the photography exhibition Travelling Without Moving at the Portobello Art Gallery, which he also made a short film about (2011). He is a radio presenter for Flava radio where he does his weekly show The Eclectic Sports Selection (since 2016). He has also volunteered as a presenter at Chelsea & Westminister Hospital Radio (2014-2016). JC Kamau is also a poet who has performed at multiple venues in London. He also produced a book of poetry & photography called Mosaic Merkaba.
